Desktop toolkit for on-chain data analysis and RPC inspection
RugCheck is a native Windows application that connects to Solana RPC endpoints, retrieves on-chain program data, and runs a series of heuristic checks against token metadata, authority configurations, and liquidity pool state. The results are presented in a local GUI so developers can quickly audit a token's structure without writing custom scripts or relying on third-party web dashboards.
This companion site serves as a lightweight telemetry receiver. The desktop app can optionally send small JSON beacons here so developers can inspect analysis payloads remotely, useful during development and debugging of the analysis pipeline.
The desktop client is written in Go using the Fyne UI toolkit. It communicates with Solana nodes via JSON-RPC over HTTPS, fetching account data, parsed transaction history, and program-derived addresses. The analysis engine runs entirely on the local machine — no private keys or wallet data leave the device.
On-chain queries follow a pipeline pattern: resolve the token mint, pull metadata from the Metaplex program, read the associated liquidity pool accounts, and then apply a configurable set of checks (authority renouncement, supply distribution, pool lock status, etc.). Results are scored and displayed in the GUI.
The beacon endpoint on this site accepts POST /api/beacon with a JSON
body. Payloads are stored temporarily in a KV store for later retrieval during
development. No account or login is required to use the beacon endpoint.
RugCheck is in phase F4 of 15 of its development roadmap. Current work focuses on the core analysis pipeline and RPC data fetching layer. The GUI, beacon system, and extended heuristics are being built incrementally.
This is an early-stage developer tool. APIs and data formats may change between releases.
